Heavy-Duty Weed Mat Nails & Ground Anchor Pegs – UV-Stabilized Landscape Fabric Staples for Weed Barrier, Farming & Garden Geotextile Membrane
Product details
A weed mat nail (also known as a weed mat peg, anchor pin, or ground staple) is a durable pin used to fasten weed control mats firmly to the soil so the fabric does not shift or blow away in the wind.
Where to Use It (Applications)
-
Farms & Orchards: Holding down weed barriers along crop rows, vegetable beds, and fruit tree lines.
-
Greenhouses & Polyhouses: Fastening floor covers along interior walkways and bed paths.
-
Gardens & Landscaping: Securing weed barriers under gravel, decorative stones, wood mulch, or artificial grass.
-
Slopes & Walkways: Keeping ground fabrics flat to prevent soil erosion and stop tripping hazards on garden paths.
How to Use It (Step-by-Step)
-
Lay the Fabric Flat: Roll out your weed control mat over smooth, level soil and pull it tight.
-
Overlap the Edges: When using two rolls, overlap the edges by 10 to 15 cm.
-
Position the Nails: Place nails every 1 to 1.5 meters along the borders, overlapping seams, and center area.
-
Push or Hammer Down: Push the pointed end straight down into the dirt by hand, or gently tap it flush against the fabric using a rubber mallet or hammer.
